Thainstone House Hotel, July 2012.

I move house soon. Back to England(-shire) and to God’s own county, Lancashire. This means its the standard time of being pensieve and looking back on a 12 months that has been, in varying amounts: Awesome, awful, happy, depressing, difficult, successful, stressful and relaxing. The highs include getting into photography and starting this website, the lows revolving around being in Scotland away from a lot of my friends, and being the “one who lives up north, no, not in Edinburgh, even further north than that – you know the place, they got electricity last week!”

Having said that, I’ve come to like the grey old town and its countryside. It has good names for places. I’m sure I’ll confuse people with some local slang when I move down south!
